“The annual Charleston World AIDS Day Community Candlelight Vigil will reflect upon those who have long passed while honoring the lives of those survivors and celebrating the medical and societal advancements that has been made since the early days of HIV/AIDS.

A free community reception will follow the evening’s commemoration.

The Sexual Health Awareness, (STI) Prevention, & Education Tri-County Initiative is a public health collaboration that provides community testing and resources to Lowcountry residents, medical professionals, and businesses.  SHAPE empowers individuals to make healthy decisions regarding their sexual health by providing education, treatment, and prevention resources to people of all ages to reduce new HIV infections and fostering  a community free of STIs.
