The Rollins Edwards Community Center opened on July 1, 2019. The 14,000 square foot building, located at 301 N. Hickory St., features a full-size gymnasium, three multipurpose rooms, a fitness room, a wellness center, and a catering kitchen. It is previously known as the S.C. National Guard Armory. It sat vacant for many years before the Town bought the building in 2014. Rollins Edwards was a Dorchester County leader and World War II veteran who passed away in 2017.
