“Join The Gadsden for the latest edition of its 2019 Field Notes lecture series, a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Charleston such a vibrant place to live. Field Notes is a recurring series featuring gifted local tastemakers who offer behind-the-scenes glimpses of Charleston.

On Tuesday, July 16, Field Notes will host Ted Dombrowski, owner and primary butcher of Ted’s Butcherblock. Ted grew up in the restaurant industry and watched his parents and grandparents who were committed to hard work and customer service. He will be joined by Chef Morgan McQueen who been at Ted’s Butcherblock for five years.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy small bites prepared and grilled by Ted’s team on site and learn how they are made. Dombrowski and McQueen will teach you everything you need to know about the perfect summer meat and may even leak a secret or two about his passed down family recipes.

This interactive lecture is the perfect opportunity to expand your grilling skills, learn about the best tasting meats, and how to best prepare them.
