“Summertime has come to a close, but the Shaggin’ on the Cooper series is offering one more chance to dance to beach music on the Mount Pleasant Pier. The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission’s (CCPRC) popular Shaggin’ on the Cooper series will host its season finale on Oct. 5, featuring live music by Recollections. Recollections is a seven-piece band of experienced musicians brought together by their common love of playing classic beach and rhythm and blues. The group will play beach music and other hits sure to keep folks on the Mount Pleasant Pier dancing throughout the evening.

Spend one last evening on the pier with a date or head out to meet new friends, kick back and relax while taking in the fresh air and fun atmosphere. Gates open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m. Shaggin’ on the Cooper is open to all ages; participants ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
