“Pink Argyle is the newest pop-up dinner series in Charleston. It combines the element of a sit down dinner with progressive conversation.

About this Event

The O’ Me, O’ My Experience is proud to present the inaugural Pink Argyle experience – Truth immersed in comradery. This project aims to be more than just a simple dining experience. It is the experience for members primarily of the Charleston community seeking a change in local policies and resources made available to creatives and professionals in the area.

Curated by Tamarra O’day Washington, who is the Founder of the O’ Me, O’ My Experience, the vision behind this event is to encourage those who attend to take a moment for self-care in their fight for change, and also bring to light the importance of being there for and taking care of one another. By adding the element of a meal that everyone gets to build on their own, and share with other attendees, this event visually showcases that there is room for everyone to have a seat at the table.

Pink: represents caring, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding. Also, being associated with giving and receiving care.

Argyle: a pattern composed of diamonds of various colors on a plain background. In this case, the argyle pattern represents various individuals that are diamonds on the same plain background, but in this case, the argyle pattern is pink. In which these various individuals come together to commune, show compassion, and unwavering support for one another. Whether it be supporting a business or idea; and/or lending an ear to personal experiences that one has been affected by, it’s all palpable colloquialism”
