“I Heart Hungry Kids, in partnership with the Lowcountry Food Bank, puts 135 volunteers under the age of 18 (and some awesome adults) to work at our Packing Parties to beat kid hunger in our community.

Created specifically for kid volunteers, our Packing Parties teach kids the power of volunteering and its benefit to others, and with music, healthy snacks, and lots of action it’s fun for the entire family!

Registration is free and all donations are tax deductible and go towards our programs.

This month, come dressed for Halloween as you pack food for kids in need.

Since 2013, I Heart Hungry Kids has empowered kids to beat hunger through hands-on service, community outreach, and food advocacy. Founded by Jackson Silverman (then age 7) and his twin brothers Gabe and Riley (then age 5), the nonprofit has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels for its impact on the issue of kid hunger.

Together we have created over 300,000 meals for children in our community and educated thousands of kids and adults about food insecurity right here at home.

Because kids helping kids – it’s how we change our world!”
