“Buildings as a Climate Change Solution – Learn how buildings can become the world’s sixth major carbon sink, providing an important climate change drawdown solution. Currently, the harvesting and manufacturing of building materials accounts for 11% of global GHG emissions, with that number expected to rise sharply in the coming decades. But there are buildings being made today that are net sequesterers of carbon, showing that it is possible to completely change the current paradigm and have the built environment store more carbon than it emits.
