Brittlebank Park
Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 5:30 – 6:30pm

“The Lowcountry Stargazers will host “Astronomy in the Park” at Brittlebank Park on Wednesdays from sunset until around 9PM.

We do not hold this event when the Charleston Riverdogs have a Wednesday night home game.

Our members will have telescopes set up for people to look through and will answer questions about astronomy and the night sky.

We set up directly across from the Marriott hotel and ask attendees to park in designated parking spaces, and not on the grass.

Our events are always free to the public.

Visit us at and on Facebook.

The Lowcountry Stargazers is a 501(c) 3 Non-Profit Charitable Organization, also registered with the SC Secretary of State as an Exempt Public Charity.

The group is made up of amateur astronomers. In addition to activities for its members, it has a mission to advance education and promote science to adults and children of all ages.

We provide community outreach programs that are free of charge and encourage all attendees to look through our telescopes at objects in the nighttime sky.”
